The symposium follows up on the historic American Statistical Association Statement on P-values and Statistical Significance, calling for moving statistical analysis and evidence-based decision making beyond “bright line rules” toward a “post p < 0.05 era.” This symposium will focus attention on specific approaches for improving practice across three broad sets of activities:

-Using research in the 21st century
-Sponsoring, disseminating, reproducing, and replicating research
