IMS Elections – Voting Instructions
Five Members will be elected to the Council this year, using the Single Transferable Voting System.
- Please rank the candidates 1, 2, 3…r, in order of preference.
- Number as many candidates as you wish; all remaining candidates will be treated as being of equal and lower preference (1=1st choice, 0=lower preference).
- No ties are allowed among the numbered preferences.
- Numbered rankings must be sequential.
- Please see below for examples of valid and rejected ballots.
- You may vote for any IMS member for any office by printing the member name on a blank line and ranking the corresponding box.
