David Allison, IMS Fellow and dean of the Indiana University School of Public Health in Bloomington, was named a 2023 fellow of the Sigma Xi honor society. Since 2020, the scientific research honor society has selected peer-nominated scientists in recognition of their “exceptional contributions to the scientific enterprise.” Founded in 1886, Sigma Xi promotes excellence in scientific investigation and encourages a sense of companionship and cooperation among researchers in all fields of science and engineering.
