We are pleased to announce a new award and lecture in memory of Thomas G. Kurtz. The winner of the biennial award will deliver the Tom Kurtz invited plenary lecture at the co-sponsored Stochastic Networks conference, which Kurtz co-founded to bring together mathematicians and applied researchers. Honoring this vision, the awardee will be an active researcher whose work explores emerging directions at the interface of mathematical theory and real-world applications for stochastic networks. Tom’s obituary is here.
