In collaboration with Instats.org, the ASA is hosting the NSF@75: Advancing Statistical Science for a Data-Driven World Virtual Conference July 15–16 to showcase the transformative research made possible through National Science Foundation funding. Kathy Ensor, 2022 ASA president, will open the conference with a plenary highlighting the NSF’s essential contributions to the statistical sciences, and 2010 ASA president Sastry Pantula will close the conference with a plenary explaining what is at stake and how to move forward. Eighty papers in 10 concurrent sessions will offer a unique window into a broad array of innovative projects and research your colleagues are pursuing and will help us stress the importance of the NSF in supporting innovation in statistics and data science (and, by extension, other fields, as well). There is no cost to attend the conference, but registration is required.
