The Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, is organizing the International Conference on Applied Statistics and Data Science (ICASDS), to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on December 28–29, 2025. The theme of the conference is “Data-driven Solutions: Unlocking New Possibilities”. The event aims to bridge the gap between education and emerging industry demands and foster discussions on equipping the next generation with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively harness the power of data. The conference is expected to attract participants from diverse backgrounds, including representatives from industry, academia, government, and international organizations operating in Bangladesh. The program will feature keynote and plenary sessions, invited sessions on special topics, invited and contributed paper sessions, a roundtable discussion on statistics and data science education, pre-conference workshops, and a JSR poster competition for young researchers. The deadline for submission of abstracts is November 10, 2025, and registration closes on December 15, 2025.
