The Annual Deming Conference on Applied Statistics will be held from Monday, December 7 to Wednesday, December 9, 2026, followed by two parallel 2-day short courses on Thursday, December 10, and Friday, December 11, 2026, at the state-of-art Tropicana Atlantic City (2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ, 08401, USA). The purpose of the 3-day Deming Conference on Applied Statistics is to provide a learning experience on recent developments in statistical methodologies in biopharmaceutical applications. The conference is composed of twelve three-hour tutorials on current topics in applied biopharmaceutical statistics and FDA regulations, three one-hour distinguished keynotes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The books, on which these sessions are based, are available for sale at an approximately 40% discount. Attendees will receive program proceedings of the presentations. The conference is sponsored by the International Chinese Statistical Association and the American Statistical Association Biopharmaceutical Section. In particular, we acknowledge the support of Biopharmaceutical Section for the Deming Scholar Student Awards. Poster Session We are soliciting abstract proposals for posters for the Deming Conference 2026. The Poster Presentation forum allows participants to submit their research concepts and issues of relevance for peer review in the area of biostatistics. Poster sessions, which will be held on all 3 days (Dec 7 –9, 2026) of the conference, allow attendees to discuss the specifics of an abstract with the author in a small group setting. There will be five poster awards. Submissions will be accepted through Saturday, October 4, 2025. Student Scholars: Students pursuing a doctorate degree in Biostatistics/Statistics may apply to receive a Deming Student Scholar Award and present a poster on their doctoral thesis at the conference. This award will be offered to up to three students from US Universities which will include travel, accommodation and registration fee to the 3-day conference (Dec 7 – 9, 2026). Once an award is granted, the students must present a poster on their doctoral thesis at the conference. The deadline for poster submission is Saturday October 4, 2026.
