In the June/July 2026 IMS Bulletin you’ll find photos of the 24 winners of the New Researcher Travel Awards and 22 winners of the Hannan Graduate Student Travel Awards.

Each IMS New Researcher Travel Award provides funding to an IMS member who has received their PhD within the past five years, to attend any IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meeting where they will present a paper or poster.

The recipients of the 2026 Hannan Graduate Student Travel Awards—IMS members who are graduate students (seeking a Master’s or PhD degree)—can use the funds to attend any IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meeting, and possibly present a paper or a poster.

If you see any of these people at a meeting, do say hello!
