Each year, the IMS selects speakers across a range of subject areas to deliver our named and medallion lectures at IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meetings. In 2026, these will be at:

• IMS Annual Meeting, July 6–9, 2026, Salzburg, Austria: Wald lecture (Tilmann Gneiting); Blackwell lecture (Cun-Hui Zhang); three Medallion lectures (Jelle Goeman, Ian McKeague, Bodhisattva Sen); four Lawrence D. Brown PhD Student Award lectures (Jin-Hong Du, Yu Gui, Subhodh Kotekal, Reese Pathak)
• JSM 2026, August 1–6, 2026, in Boston, USA: Grace Wahba lecture (Jane-Ling Wang); three Medallion lectures (Genevera Allen, David Blei, Lester Mackey)
