New Researcher Travel Awards: 16 winners
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the IMS New Researcher Travel Awards for 2025. Each award provides funding to an IMS member who has received their PhD within the past five years, to attend any IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meeting where they will present a paper or poster.

Hannan Graduate Student Travel Awards: 20 winners
The IMS is also pleased to announce these winners of the 2025 Hannan Graduate Student Travel Awards. The award recipients, who are IMS members, can use the funds to attend any IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meeting.
The award was created in memory of Professor James Hannan (1922–2010), who was a Fellow of the IMS. He received a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1953 (with research in compound decision theory under Herbert Robbins), and was a faculty member at Michigan State University from 1953–2002.
