The annual Myles Hollander Distinguished Lectureship recognizes an internationally renowned leader and pioneering researcher in statistics who has made a sustained impact on the field, and the lectures feature topics spanning the breadth of statistics. The inaugural lecture will be given by Nancy Reid, University Professor and Canada Research Chair in Statistical Methodology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Reid’s talk will be accessible via zoom for up to 500 participants (we may be able to increase to 1000 participants with additional support from the Florida State University). If registration exceeds our zoom capacity, we anticipate additionally broadcasting the talk on YouTube. We are not able to assist those interested to participate with technical access issues (such as poor quality internet, hardware, etc.).
