The Joint Conference for Experimental Design and Production Engineering 2018 is a joint meeting of the 3rd Conference on Experimental Design and Analysis (CEDA) and the 3rd Pacific Rim Statistical Conference for Production Engineering (SCPE). This joint conference features two keynote speeches by Dr. William Q. Meeker (Iowa State University) and Dr. Ching-Shui Cheng (University of California-Berkeley & Academia Sinica). The CEDA 2018 highlights the most recent advances in the design and analysis of physical, biological and computer experiments and demonstrate their applicability to practitioners in scientific and industrial communities. It provides an excellent platform to share research ideas among senior mentors, junior researchers and Ph.D. students/graduates. The 3-day conference will be composed of ten scientific sessions. The SCPE 2018 highlights the most recent developments and application of statistical thinking and methods for production engineering alongside with Big Data. It features renowned speakers from statistics and engineering, showcasing their work with Big Data in production engineering.
