Welcome to the DAGStat Conference 2022! The sixth conference of the Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Statistik is hosted by the Universität Hamburg in close cooperation with Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf  and Helmut-Schmidt-Universität. All fourteen societies that form the DAGStat will be included in the conference program.Matching the motto ‘Mind the gap –Interplay between theory and practice’the plenary presentationsaddress current topics which are of interest for statisticians of all different areas of application.Topics of the conference include allapplication areas like statistics in medicine, in economics, in engineering or in social sciences as well as methodological statistics.This wide view of statisticsencourages interesting and productive scientific discussions on the conference.
